Soldiers Letters From The 2009 Holiday Operation

First and foremost, thank you for the care packages and keeping us in your prayers. Looking back at all that has gone on, I am more than grateful for all the prayers that have been said for me and my fellow troops. Had it not been for God’s grace, I do not know how one would survive over here.

Your actions (and those of fellow patriotic Americans) are greatly appreciated over here and provide a morale boost that many troops need this time of year. Due to the generous outpouring of fellow Americans, I have found a renewed pride in serving my Country and contributing to the success of a free Iraq.

Once again, Thank You to all of the individuals at United for the Troops and keep up the good work as your actions are appreciated more than one can imagine over here.

Thank you all for your continued support this holiday season!  As a result of your efforts we successfully sent out over 600 packages to our men and women serving overseas!!  We truly couldn’t have done it without you!!

Thank You South Side!

Just a quick thank you to Wendy and Marc who graciously doneated both of their locations to United For The Troops for our fundraisers!

Thanks to everyone’s efforts at both locations we were able to raise over $6000 in the last two weeks!!

That will certainly help us bring a little comfort to our troops this holiday season!!

This Saturday will wrap up our efforts for the holiday season, and if you are available we can definitely use volunteers to help pack everything up!

South Side Fundraiser a Huge Success!

A HUGE THANKS to everyone who came out in support of Operation: Defend The Holidays!!

Thanks to everyone’s efforts, we were able to raise over $4300 to send packages to our troops this holiday season!!

It was a great day, with great friends!!

We will have be hosting an ENCORE fundraiser this upcoming Saturday at South Side’s Yorktown location!

Special thanks to Wendy & Marc for opening the South Side to our event, and Gizzo for providing the music!!
